Q4: Celebration or Panic?

It’s the fourth quarter — and for most producers, that means one of two things: celebration or panic.

The Q4 Illusion

Every year, we see the same thing happen: producers use Q4 to focus on prospecting so they can “get ahead” in Q1. On the surface, that makes sense — prospecting now plants seeds for next year’s growth.

But there’s a catch. Many of those same producers aren’t actually clear on what’s happening in Q4. They don’t fully know where their numbers stand today, which clients are moving the needle, or how much capacity they have left to give.
